Diablo 3 to emphasize cooperation, PvP to be included
Jul 5th 2008 5:12PM (Joystiq)However, I think the game other than that one little thing looks fucking amazing. I'll buy it the minute it releases.
I'm also excited about the emphasis on Co-op. Diablo II really got pointless to play after everyone decided to not actually play the game anymore. It seems like Blizzard is aiming to improve that problem.
Kyle Turley Wants Pacman Jones Banned
May 9th 2008 11:36PM (Fanhouse NFL Blog)If you would review the FACTS about the situation against the Jets, you would understand that Turley was only reacting to Damien Robinson attacking Aaron Brooks in a similar brutal fashion. He was simply protecting his quarterback. What would you have done? Watched as your teammate laid helpless on the ground screaming in agony as his neck was being violently wrenched?
@ Jones:
This is NOT a case of different punishments for similar crimes. Pacman's 16 game suspension was in reaction to ten (count them: TEN) arrests in a year. That's a little more than just making a mistake.
Some of you need to get real. Pacman deserved his suspension and deserves to have his return seriously questioned and considered.
I'm admitting this and I'm a fan of his. I think he's an exciting young talent and I'd love to see him have a long productive career in the NFL. However, I'm also a fan of Michael Vick. So take that how you want.

Aug 23rd 2007 3:41PM (Joystiq)Man, are you serious? So you're saying a reciever should be able to look away from the defenders and they have to wait for him to see them before they can make a hit?
You may think the game is too violent, but rule changes in recent years have really done a lot to protect the players.

Aug 23rd 2007 3:26PM (Joystiq)If someone says the biggest attraction of buying a truck, in their opinion, is looking cool, then are you going to correct them by saying, "NU-UH, IT'S THE HAULING SPACE PROVIDED BY THE BED." No, because that's stupid. That's not why they want a truck.
So, yeah man. Fuck off.
2K addresses BioShock widescreen issue
Aug 23rd 2007 4:20AM (Joystiq)And, in fact, a big selling point of wide-screen TVs is the extra screen area. Shows such as My Name Is Earl even play with it in ways such as having a character standing in what would be off screen for viewers using a 4:3 set and holding up a note that says "HD ROCKS!" So try to sit there and tell me that it's not part of the wide screen experience for a lot of people.
Fuck off.
