Nunchuks turning pink?

Jan 1st 2008 1:48PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
my cable is fine but the "sticks" on both tips are slightly faded orange, and I'm not sure why, I always wash my hands and stuff before using...

WRUP: 2007 ends with a fizzle edition

Dec 28th 2007 12:43PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I received GHIII and I'm loving that, and I got BWii and so I'm playing those with other friends over wifi, it's a blast. It should last me till Brawl.

a rumor, not sure if true. My cousin works at gamestop, and he was checking 2008 releases, and it said "brawl feb 10" in the release "book" but in the computer it had "march 2008" mabey it was just a mistake or my cousin was lying. I hope it's not delayed AGAIN.

Wii Warm Up: Board games

Dec 21st 2007 2:41PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I'd like to see a wiiware title with Risk. If possible, I'd rather have somthing more mini-game oriented than rolling a dice for the battling part, but whatever works. As long as it's not this bad.

Best of 2007: First-party games [update]

Dec 18th 2007 4:26PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Warioware?? Why isn't that here?

Out of these choices I would probably choose Galaxy, although I would choose strikers or Bwii as great titles for anyone to experience.

Online voice chat a possibility for the Wii

Dec 14th 2007 4:27PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Just give me voice chat with friends...that's all I need chat-wise. PLEASE NINTENDO!

I just use a phone and put it on speaker during matches...but it would be much more convenient with a peripheral.

Fanswag: Celebrate the season of giving with a VC pack

Dec 13th 2007 12:37PM (Joystiq Nintendo)

Wii Warm Up: Zapping

Dec 3rd 2007 4:37PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I enjoy using it, especially for u/c but Trying it on past games that weren't made with the zapper in mind is just difficult because when you try to reload you have to really jerk the controller but it's alright.

Link's crossbow training is fun particularly going back and finding the alternate endings to certain levels. I easily reccomend the zapper to any wii owner

Dojo update: Controls

Nov 26th 2007 4:54PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I'm eager to try out wiimote/nunchuk combo, although I think I'll use gamecube controls the most.

I'm glad I can turn off the "tap jump," I've always used buttons to jump. I think shaking the nunchuck for a smash move is a nice bonus.

The latest from Mushroom Men

Aug 30th 2007 7:43PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
This game looks like it will be amazing! I'm sure graphics will improve and the story will develop and controls should be good. I guess it's a new idea that I can't recall ever being used before "you controlling mushrooms" and it looks pretty fun so far.

It appeals to me.

Wii Warm Up: Marketing Metroid month

Aug 20th 2007 6:53PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I hope for playable demos, and there is a good chance they do it, I know space is an issue but here is my theory:

The DS download stations in walmart and various other electronic stores had DS downloadable demos, and when you turned your system off, the game was Gone. The Wii could have demos you load online, then when you turn the demo off (or your wii if that works) then the game goes away, that way we could try out games!
