Xbox Live says Halo motto is "inappropriate"

Dec 20th 2006 3:57PM (Joystiq)
It really doesn't have any sexual or religious conotations that I know of, except for it being used as a glowing ring of light above an angels head, but even then, why filter it? If you want to see every possible definition for the word halo, look no further than

urbandictionary.com

I warn you though, enter with caution.

Clearing up some PS3 confusion

May 15th 2006 12:15AM (Joystiq)
I would like to say THANK YOU Joystiq for writing an unbiased article on the PS3!

As of right now, it certainly looks like anyone who's interested in buying a PS3 at launch is going to buy the 60gb version.

Since Sony's conference on Monday, I've counted a whopping 16 posts directed against Sony. 7 of those were jokes regarding the PS3's price. Honestly, "the PS3 still costs $600", "the PS3 is worth it's weight in uranium". This is not gaming news, it's pointless.

Yea, it was funny at first, and yes, the price is outrageous, but it's just not funny anymore.

You guys are retarded. You kept your precious picture, and now you can't see the real beef. Good job.

Rogue building boasts PlayStation symbols?

May 8th 2006 2:32PM (Joystiq)
Hmmm, I saw those symbols on that building about a week and a half ago, and thought something was up, but once I drove past the building they seemed to look less and less like the actual Playstation buttons. I'll post a picture when I drive past there later today, but I really don't think it has anything to do with playstation, (just a guess.)
