[Before you guys go and criticize graphics, you do realize this is a PS2 game ported to the Wii right?] Actually, it's a Gamecube title ported to the Wii.

It's all very simple: video game consoles are on the wrong tax bracket down here in Brazil. It's on the same category as gambling machines, so the taxes for these are outrageous. Apart from that, there's the shipping & handling, the vendors' profits... and Latamel (the company which will bring Wii and DS Lite to Brazil) is Nintendo's commercial representative here. Just as they are for other products too.

Anyway, this is just way too expensive, and this will only be solved when the tax law is corrected. :(

Am I the only one to think that Castlevania's art is becoming increasingly tacky as it goes? Seriously, guys. I'm a fan of the series, but I don't like this "gothic, androgynous" look in the least.

Jipped, Matt Cassamassina was the first one to slam Nintendo regarding their choice of downplaying HDTV on Revolution and so on, so it's not like he's a spokesperson for Nintendo. Don't be ridiculous.

And about the Gamecube being a success or not... the worldwide userbase difference between the Xbox and the Gamecube is so small comparatively that it seems ridiculous to say something along the lines of "Nintendo couldn't market condoms in a brothel". Even if the Xbox was the first home console from MS.

It seems like it's trendy to diss Nintendo these days, sheesh...
