Not true. I never watch live TV any more. Record standard and HD TV on Media Center wich is extended to my home theater through the 360. Also plays all the music recorded on my Media Center. Works great and the interface is beautiful. I've even got my non-tech wife recording (too many) shows and using the 360 Harmony universal remote.

DirecTV blade coming to 360 Dashboard?

The graphic mentions that the 360 will "extend the DirecTV experience to the Xbox 360." Key word being "extend." Does this mean that the 360 will function soley as an extender for an existing Tivo systems just like it currently does for Media Center PCs? I just can't see PVR functionality on the current 360 HDD.

I bought the remote before I got my 360. Works fairly well, but some gripes: 1) Does not work well as a Media Center remote. No green button and record button doesn't work when launching Media Center from 360. 2) Inexplicable built-in signal delays make the remote feel sluggish. You can remove the delays, but it's a pain. 3) Buttons are too small.

It's a labor of love to get this thing working properly.
