Fanswag: SimCity Creator

The best one is from SimAnt, not SimCity, the lawnmower. I don't know why but I always loved that one as a kid.

Retail and download releases for the week of Oct 6th

Where is Sam and Max!?

When I pre-ordered at Game Stop, the clerk told me to come back the evening of October 6th.

Telltale stated October 7th:

http://www.telltalegames.com/community/blogs/id-375

But the Game Stop site now says shipping October 14th:

http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72515

And the side bar here at amazon.com state October 16th.

When am I finally going to be able to walk over to the Game Stop and pick-up this game?

Nintendo sneaks Wii Speak Channel announcement out

Oct 3rd 2008 12:12PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
What would be cool is if the wiispeak was actually a wireless 802.11b/g device and the usb cable was used to communicate with the Wii. So for games without chat you would fire-up this Wii speak channel and setup a connection and then leave the channel. The Wiispeak itself would then keep going and you could start another game like Mario Strikers Charged.

VC Friday: A blue blur

Sonic on Master System was a different game than on Genesis, both were good.

Boulder Dash was a very good game, I hope it turns up in the US someday. You get the same feeling when boulders are nearly falling on you as you get in Bomberman when a chain reaction of bombs is chasing you.

I never really got into Jumpman, probably since Lode Runner appealed to me so much more.
