Droid 2 launching as soon as August 12, embraces Star Wars roots with R2-D2 edition

I fail to see from where your confusion stems. Clearly, you were able to tell them apart; why exactly do you think others won't?

Exclusive: Motorola WX445 leaked, offers low-end Android for Verizon

Jul 10th 2010 3:52PM (Engadget)
That's a great analysis. If this could slide into the "3G Multimedia" tier and only require the $9.99 data package, it might get picked up by someone who doesn't want something like an EnV-series phone, but can't shell out for a full-blown smartphone.

You have a very forgiving definition of the word "subtle."

Ditto. SM64 came out when I was 16. Which I suppose doesn't make me THAT old, but it definitely wasn't my childhood.

Exactly! I'm 30 and have been a Beatles fan since I was 11. Green Day wasn't on the radar for me until at least 14, and even still, I'd call my fandom of them "casual" at best.

Roger Ebert's latest column posits 'games can never be art'

Apr 17th 2010 7:16PM (Joystiq)
What is or is not art is, was, and ever shall be, as always, in the eye of the beholder. To say otherwise is to subject all art forms to the kinds of "rules" of form that prevent games from being art (in Ebert's opinion).

NPD: Final Fantasy XIII sold almost twice as many copies on PS3

Apr 15th 2010 8:33PM (Joystiq)
@phinnvr6: FFXIII was a system-seller for me, and (along with Rock Band and Blu-ray movies) one of the primary reasons I got a PS3 two-plus years ago. I'm sure there's more people like me out there.
