As #1 pointed out. DQ refuses to change, while FF takes the risk. True, some FFs suck, but you can always see an evolution, and that you have to give some credits to them.

Some day, I say, FF will find the right formula and be what DQ can never be.

What's so special about XBL? Online gaming? Voice chat? Instant Messenger? Rip-off microtransaction? Any company with big budget can do this. (not to mention PC has them for years)

My point is if Sony or Nintendo has a better console with "a decent online service", they'll win Xbox easily.

Now let's see if the consoles are better or not.

- Why 7GB required? It's just a game with 3 expansion discs for nextgen console!!!!1 omg
- Why register sooo many times? They're being sold in 4 separated discs in other countries? Doesn't make sense! And I don't want to hear about PlayOnline which offers free services and is used to host SE's online games!

I doubt that they gave FFXII just because of the hype or money. Look at DoC:FFVII (feat. popular rock singer), got only 28/40.

Anyway, it seems like a trend hating most popular series.

The reason why WoW isn't going to console is the size of development team. They don't have enough men to work on the console project. However, why bother, they have 6m PC users. Keep releasing expansion disc for PC is enough.

FFXI is different. One, SQ/Enix already have platform-independent PlayOnline system. Two, they have more deveopers. 4 teams for doing just FF series. FF12, DoCFF7, FF11 expansion, FF11 360.

Pang Ya is MMO golf game, no offline. So that means it will be on Wi-Fi Connection. By the way, it's Korean game, but there're servers in Japan and other countries too.
