Rumor: Star Wars Battlefront III only on the Xbox 360?

Mar 28th 2007 1:52AM (Joystiq)
Well, if it is going to be on the Xbox 360, there's still a chance it could also be on the PC, considering that a)it's a game that's better suited to it, and b) Microsoft wants as many games under the Games for Windows brand that they'll not likely pass up an opportunity.

Though they better not make it Vista only...

Anyone have Vista running?

Have had Vista Ultimate for more than a week, now. From my evaluation, Microsoft has done very well. I have one game that doesn't work (Star Wars Battlefront II) which is keeping me from dumping XP entirely, but I'm close. Don't ask why, but for some reason I really like to use the built-in applications with each OS, and the trio of Internet Explorer, Windows Mail, and Windows Calendar is wonderful, as are the media applications. Aero is also a pleasure to look at, as well as being just as fast if not faster than Luna on XP. In fact, Vista feels slightly faster than XP, but that may be because Vista is better equipped to make use of my Radeon x850 and my 2.5 GBs of RAM to speed up the system.

I really can't wait for the Aero-designed applications to start coming out so we can really see what Vista can do.

Cool keyboard. That is a complete copy of the diNovo Media Desktop keyboard layout right down to the slightly irregular size of the backslash key (1.5 keys wide.)

No PC love? I have no idea why these companies only create stuff for certain platforms. LucasArts did something similar with Battlefront II.

Maybe you should mention that it's Mac OS X only?

Does anyone know whether the camera will swivel a full 180 degrees so that you can take pictures of more than just your face?

The Vista startup sound: You can't turn it off

10 points to whoever can tell me how this differs in any way from the startup sound that every Mac has had since the 1980s.

Add maps to Outlook

It doesn't work with Outlook 2007. When I go to run the installer, it says that it can't find either Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2003. :( It's only a beta, though, so I don't doubt that Outlook 2007 support would be on the roadmap.
