2nd-hand Wiis are probably cheap as anything from people trading them in to pawn-shops and such, 2nd hand ones on Ebay are also cheap. Am i the only one who in 2006, bought a Wii on launch night, and still has it as comfortably his console of choice this gen?

No you can't. When you play a GCN game on the Wii, soft-ware wise it literally turns into a Gamecube, which is why the Home button on the Wii Remote no longer works, cause its no longer a Wii. Some Wii games of course support a GCN controller, but not this one. The Classic Controller Pro is cheap and the best way to play this game.

Of course i have Metroid Prime Trilogy, absolutely love that game, my post was a quick generalization. I have about 30 Wii games, none besides Wii Sports i'd consider a kiddy mini-game collection.

My gaming PC plays those games you listed, though TBH if i had the money, i'd have a PS3, God of War 3 and FFXIII are two titles i really want to finish.

Of course it does, Nintendo has a gag order on anyone talking about launch games until Nintendo announces them at E3. Thats why the only launch games we know of are the very few that are confirmed.

One of the most beautiful and in-depth RPGs around. Hailed as the best JRPG of the last half-decade on any console. I hope it sells well so NOA have no qualms about localizing more games in the US in the future.

DKCR, Kirbys Epic Yarn, Xenoblade, Skyward Sword, The Last Story, Pandoras Tower. Just these games alone are enough of a reason to own a Wii, nevermind everything else with Mario or Smash Bros in the title. Whatever floats ur boat, but as a gamer of 26 years, i happily chose the Wii as my console of choice this gen, im just also happy i got a gaming PC to enjoy most of the games on the HD consoles anyway. The Wii has more A+ exclusive games this gen, so it was an easy choice.

Patience padawan.

I'm literally picking up this game in 9 hours. It looks incredible. Its amazing to see that the Wii is getting its best games in the 18 months leading up to the WiiU launch. I feel sorry for those who gave up on the Wii early and have missed out on so much quality.

Definite must buy.

Definitely WILL buy on WiiU if launched with that :D
