Homemade obsidian portal eh? I've had some obsidian lying around with no use and the perfect, evil place for that portal to go.

No way this needs to happen. If Apple wanted to tie FaceTime into Facebook chat and allow for Ping integration, they could do that as a contractual agreement for a hell of a lot less than $35 billion+. What would that even be worth? $1 billion?

When I was a child, the Seattle Center had a room that was full of kid-sized representations of things like a grocery store, bus, etc . . . and I recall being completely immersed in the experience of being able to "use" these grown up things that are normally off limits to kids, and it stuck with me for years. This Kidzania thing looks like that concept on steroids, I had no idea something like this existed, I wish I was a kid again and could experience this from that mindset.

I'm sorry, you're right, making idiots feel better about themselves and the slaughtering hundreds of millions of people in the name of the [insert religion here] is awesome.

Despite being the most horrible thing man has ever created, I find religion pretty fascinating. That said, I also think it's hilarious that people on both sides of the religion argument think they're going to prove their point, one argued by scholars and scientists for eons, in a Joystiq comment thread.
