when Metal Gear Solid 2 came out they had 2 life-size Solid Snake figurines on both sides of a big set of stairs.... it was pretty cool.... and some haggard *ss girl running around in a skimpy outfit, trying to look like a space hooker(i think).... they sure do something..... and i really wanna know what that is....

This is really, really sad, but the worst is, probably, that this isn't the first time that this have happened... I remember reading an article a few years back about a gamer that stabbed another gamer to death with a sword(NO JOKE!!), because the victim stole a virtual sword from the killer in a MMORPG(STILL NOT JOKING!!)...

I wonder how many killings will happen with WoW....? Raids possibly??

My mom had unpacked it, and placed it next to my tv for when I would come home from a vacation in Greece....

you've never been able to skip the cut scenes!
if you don't want hear the story, don't buy the game! it's that simple! i, for one,like to view a long cutscene... it's like a little breather where you can do something like, make some coffee, get a brew, roll one, enjoy a smoke, all to make the gaming experience a whole lot more comfortable....
are you also the type of gamers that put on a cd, during play, so you won't have to listen to the voices, music and sfx?
i mean, come on, an rpg is an interactive fairytale! and i'm not saying it's a bad thing! i'm a big fan of the series, and the thing i fear the most is that lame mission crap they pulled in x-2! and after that, crappy voice-overs!
and the thing about the savepoints... does it even matter? the only games that count your saves, are resident evil, silent hill and that sorta thing! it's so nice that square intended for you to save when ever you reach a savepoint! it won't bite you in manberries in the end, it would rather help you!

if you don't like that sorta game, then why are you even writing on this thread? it puzzles me....
i know i'm looking forward to it!
