Five Great 'SNL' Hosts That Will Never Happen

Apr 6th 2010 6:44PM (AOL TV)

its ok. slow news day.

'Chuck' - 'Chuck Versus the American Hero' Recap

Mar 30th 2010 11:06AM (AOL TV)
only reason i dont think rome will happen is that the cost of even making it look like rome (the fancy spy kind) will be too high for this show. half of the appeal of chuck is the buy more and the suburban setting anyway.

it'll do as good as the DBZ, tekken, and DOA movies.

'Lost' - 'What Kate Does' Recap

Feb 10th 2010 1:12AM (AOL TV)
does the jimmy kimmel episode last tuesday night count as spoilers? the last question lindelof and cuse answered, clears up a lot about the smoke monster. well not a lot, but it would contradict one very important point thing said here. i won't say anymore so to not ruin anything, but you can go watch it if you wanna spoil it yourself.

Review: 'Smallville' - 'Absolute Justice'

Feb 6th 2010 2:50AM (AOL TV)
not sure what they dr. fate meant to chloe, but couldn't have meant that she dies (though she still may) since fate, can't see his own fate.

Review: Dollhouse - Epitaph Two (series finale)

Jan 30th 2010 1:28AM (AOL TV)
good ending especially considering the circumstances. we'll be lucky if LOST answers as much questions as dollhouse did. i understand if the reviewer didn't really like the show and kept watching, cuz its his job. But if your sticking to the end, AND complaining, well thats on you.

10 Films Fighting For 5 Best Picture Slots (Part 2)

Jan 14th 2010 1:19PM (Cinematical)
i would be pleasantly suprised if district 9 got a nomination, tho i doubt it. I dont think where the wild things are, or Nine, will get it either. Best Picture noms actually have to be good movies right? I think both were highly anticipated to be best pics but generally failed (although, there are people who still love them). How does The Road not make it? Fantastic Mr Fox? Sugar? The Messenger? 500 days of summer? Moon? Sorry, but if The Hangover is on this list, might as well include Zombieland, The Proposal, (and the blind side).

ESPN Must Push BCS to Adopt Playoffs

Jan 7th 2010 12:18AM (Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti)
has anyone offered a coherent system for a BCS playoff where all parties could possibly agree to? i haven't heard one. i've heard of ones that satisfy MOST parties, but not all. By parties i mean, the networks, the NCAA, and the athletes. When they give excuses like academia, i agree, is a joke. Its easy to do a playoff in the NFL, where theres only 32 teams, or a sport like basketball, where they play so many games that it's a lot easier to determine rank. Let's also not forget that football is the most physically demanding and hurtful of the popular sports, and that when these kids get hurt, they dont have any contracts to fall back on, and according to you, any education either. So you can sit there and be selfish and whine about how there's no "true" champion, remind yourself that no one ever forced you to watch these games, or dedicate your life to writing about them. It's not like NCAA football *had* a playoff, and then discontinued it for what it is now, and you just miss what was. I'm sure Mr. Fleischer is going to counter your "harsh truth" just fine.

then again you probably just have an article deadline and playing devils advocate is always more fun.
