Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES) pulled from Virtual Console

@iceveiled
Actually, from reading most of the statements here, its pretty obviously a case of kids being mad that a game doesn't force feed you easy mode, make half the game a tutorial level, give you infinite lives, and save points throughout the level.

Dont know what game you people played, but reshelled is fine. Most people bitch because its not the snes version... which they can go buy if they really wanted.

Reshelled is miles better than other konami brawlers like that shit piece xmen and the simpsons.

The Last of Us screens put Joel and Ellie in Pittsburgh

@Zolbrod clearly not, because, from all of my year of youtube weapon training ( i perfected the dragon twister) I can tell you that weapons never break or become unusable.

Sweet. Being a pittsburgh native, I already recognize the one shot of the bridge with the buildings in the background. Looks sweet. I wonder how accurate it will be, and I wonder if being from the town the game is based on will help with the navigation.... maybe my house is in it.

Go buy more Skylanders toys now

A couple of things from this.

1) It should have been an online dungeon crawler. Couch co-op is fun, but still.
2) This should show that games like this will work, and I wouldnt be surprised to see a "more mature" crawler come out using the technology.
3) this game is still awesome. I love that you can take the figures to any system and play. It sucks that the distribution is lacking so severe.
4) it also sucks that Toys R Us and a few other places realize how much of a money grabber this is, and has raised the damn prices on these figures by a lot. 3 packs are $24.99 and singles are $9.99. Thats up from $19.99 and $7.99 respectfully.

It's official: EverQuest goes free-to-play

So, is there an influx of screaming baby players complaining about how its free now, and they had to pay all those years... or is everquest to old to have entitlement babies?

PSN releases: Scarygirl, Gotham City Impostors beta

Jan 25th 2012 1:10PM (Joystiq)
@TimeDoesNotExist

Actually, i did some checking, turns out its not working for a lot of people. Sony says its capcom, capcom is saying its sony's fault... it looks like it has something to do with already owning one or more of the games from the bundle... in my case, its SFHDR... I hope the fix this, because this is a great deal and I want to get it... Capcom is probably just trying to figure out a way to get rid of half of the games in the bundle to make them DLC for the other $30.

PS+ is still miles better than "the other service".

My problem comes from the fact that when I try to download the capcom superpack, it says "this content cannot be accessed from this account". I have 2 ps3, neither of which have this bundle already... so i think this is just a big troll from capcom.

This seems to be the case for a lot of companies these days.

LA Noire deals on XBLM this week, Bastion deal and Rhythm Party next week

Jan 24th 2012 1:06PM (Joystiq)
Sweet, i missed the bastion deal last time... a question though.. for you JC.. or whoever posts the deals... why are these always backwards? PSN updates today, yet you post XBLA today, and XBLA updates tomorrow, but you post PSN tomorrow... Am I just not getting the joke?
