Jan 10th 2012 3:15PM (Joystiq)Actually, it has the same amount of RAM as the 360, it's just architecturally different. The PS3 splits RAM into system (256M) and video (256M). The 360 has a total of 512M that can be used as either system or video, allowing developers more flexibility.
Bethesda has said before that this bug exists because of this architectural limitation, so I'd be curious to know what the technical details of their fix are given that they initially blamed the bug on the hardware. This would imply a software fix would be either extremely difficult or just altogether impossible.
