New ThinkPad keyboard features crowdsourced design, lower price

Sep 6th 2009 12:28PM (Engadget)
@Pingles: Here are my two reasons:

1) Generally wireless keyboards from Microsoft (my KB vendor of choice) don't have the scroll/numlock buttons visible- you have to look at the wireless base (if possible) and by that time you may as well have a cord.

2) Functionally a wireless keyboard is no different than a wired keyboard- so how can I justify the batteries and environmental cost? At least with a mouse (since it moves) having no chords makes it easier to move on the desktop.

@jay: As someone that loves to listen to albums I personally would have never bought an iPod without Cover Flow- I agree though for the casual MP3 listener (one or two tracks per album) it is a pretty worthless way to list music.

Newer MS mice don't have a clicking feature on their wheels these days- a bit awkward for the first couple hours but I came to like it.

I agree that some, especially cheaper, mice have outrageous loud click-wheels which can be irritating in a sea of cubicles.

Tesla founder sues Tesla, Elon Musk

Silicon Valley - these are $100k+ cars- you're not going to see them everywhere, but there are really quite a few running around in the SF Bay Area. My guess would be the intersection of people with a lot of money and the social appeal of fast and "environmentally" friendly.

Get what to market? Their cars? Which one, because I don't know where you live but I see the Tesla roadster pretty frequently- at least once a week.

under $50. Search YouTube for Xbox 360 HDD upgrade...

But yes I agree- 120GB is inadequate if they are going to start doing downloadable games- I would assume that means a larger HDD will be released soon?
