The school grade system your talking about only applies to america. It's stupid that a game is considered bad if it scores under 6. Theres ten numbers on the scale and 5 is in the middle, which makes 5 average!

Damn i cant stand it when people say the gamecube controller sucked. The only thing wrong with it is a shitty D-pad. It's second only to the Xbox 360 controller (which also has a shitty D-pad)

If your sdtv doesnt support 480p (like me), just buy an RGB SCART or if your american an S-Video cable. Youd be very surprised how much the picture quality increases. I PLAY DEAD RISING AND READ THE TEXT COMFORTABLY ON A 26 INCH SDTV! I assume most of the picture quality upgrade of 480p, comes more from the higher quality cables than from the picture being progressive.

It may have failed in sales and market share, but it's the best console i ever owned. Although back then it seemed a lot better because of all the new types of games, mostly because of the change to 3d. Games havent really changed much since then.

Even at that price its not such a bad deal. I pay £50 ($90) for a game.

I just cant wait untill they get homebrew running on the thing. I still use my original xbox daily for xbox media center.

I have a fix for anyone in the UK with an SDTV. Buy an RGB SCART cable, the picture quality is far better. I cant read the text in dead rising unless i use it. Make sure your TV supports RGB first before you buy one though.
