I like joystiq, but lately there's been shameless plugs for your other sites. EGM tried that before epic failure (EGM2). Until people learn history, they are doomed to repeat it.

sad, i love that development team. But I don't care who they have on their side, they could get nintendo and microsoft first party games. I will never buy a PS3.

sad to see. It's fairly easy to take an existing game (with existing gameplay programming) and add new content to it. Different to put it on the Wii (I know we're not talking about ninja gaiden here). But I'm 100% sure Itagaki will NOT be the one who's helming the first Wii project. Yosuke will probably helm it. Why risk putting your much hyped name (Itagaki) onto a VERY experimental machine like the Wii?

This title is ALMOST misleading. Itagaki IS Team Ninja. Team Ninja isn't even working on Ninja Gaiden Sigma (bet their logo/movie is still on it though). It's just this guy plus a few others.
They just happen to be ON Team Ninja. This guy is basicly getting screwed on the paychecks.

Come with all the excuses possible. Burning Crusade wasn't nearly enough to keep people going. Nothing ground breaking was included, sure flying mounts..but meh that's not something worth blowing $40 on (yes it's a $40 expansion...more expensive then the game itself).

2 new races, no new classes. They can't even properly balance the ones they have now. WoW is dropping in #'s because the expansion didn't live up to the hype, something the "game news industry" sets.

They're all overly positive on previews (in general), because it brings them more previews from other/same companies and they rarely tell the company how to improve the game. It's like a more selective beta with next to zero input and all the ass kissing.

Burning crusade simply wasn't enough to keep anyone going for long. Blizz underestimated how fast people would go through the main content and shrug at the filler. The players are simply left to grind for gear. You don't pay $40 to grind for better gear. You pay $40 to get a breath of fresh air, something that brings a new element into a game. Burning Crusade fails to deliver plain and simple.

A new class on top of the newish stuff would've been passable. But this = thumbs down. Oh well, blizz has enough of a market to sell a watered down expansion and still be OK.

I hope more people leave, so they know they can't gimp a hyped product and remain still in the profits.

I blame blizz and the industry (reviewers/previewers).
