The current price of a PS3 in Japan is $406USD. A complete waste of a good price point, Sony should've had that price here in the US and in EU, NOT Japan. Stupid move. To hell with Japan, let em have their Wiis. Lower the price in the western markets to match and watch the PS3s fly off the shelves.

I went ahead and got the 4 yr extended for a total of 5 yrs with a replacement clause from Bestbuy. On a $600+ investment the $100 was negligible, for me anyways $20 a year for piece of mind is "cheap"

Something like this is definitely showing customer care. It is completely unnecessary to do this, there are plenty of SHIT movies(as in PQ/SQ) out there even b4 blu-ray movies came around. Fifth Element certainly isn't the worst BD, Sleepy Hollow has it beat, but I am very glad that they are replacing my copy though. Kudos Sony!
