Mar 30th 2010 9:48AM (Joystiq)We were curious about what he had done, glad to see the news made it all the way to Joystiq ;D
BTW, Breach actually looked interesting. The tech they've built for destructible environments is impressive, it's not hard to imagine it being fleshed out into a compelling gameplay dynamic.
A 'real' Katamari controller
May 25th 2009 3:10PM (Joystiq)The trackball-enabled PS2 controller mentioned above would not work, as it's only acting as a single joystick.

Comparing Rock Band to Guitar Hero in difficulty
Nov 16th 2007 12:36AM (Joystiq)They put in some devious tricks to throw off expert players, most notably putting black "must strum" notes in the middle of strings of hammer-ons. These actually make it feel a little more like playing a *real* guitar, but they'll break your streaks the first few times through.
The only song in career mode that seems to err on the side of "ridiculously hard" is Raining Blood, but that's largely because the mosh parts have no discernable melody.
