We already know that it's Twisted Metal. There's been a teaser site and everything. I'm sure I read that on this very blog.

Isn't this supposed to be PS3fanboy? Why the Xbox 360 hands on? I know it's being released on both but why write about the 360 version here? That doesn't make sense.

AND they haven't even bothered to change the costumes.

I've been a die hard Tekken fan since part 2 but this new one looks dreadful. I will definitely be giving this one a miss and that's really sad. I used to look forward to each new Tekken so much. This one has lost me due to:
-LAME new characters, not one authentic fighting style between them and the designs are just awful.
-No real innovation that takes advantage of the new hardware.
-more juggling and bounce moves(?)
Definitely not getting this. Screw you Namco! I'm sticking with Tekken 5: DR

Oh god. This is not happening. The new characters are going from bad to worse. What's happening. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Ha ha ha Microsoft. Look they've just tried to make their console more like the PS3; colour and everything. Seriously how many times has MS rapped Sony for "forcing HD on people" now Peter Moore is saying that gamers have an "insatiable desire for it". Since Sony released their console they've been scrambling around making half-assed additions to try and imitate PS3 functionality. All the while they try and spin that that funcitonality wasn't needed in the first place: HDD, HDMI port, more hard dive space etc. Tsk tsk. And Stef Geiger is absolutely right about closing the price point gap. MS are walking a dangerous line. Also what's all this multiple configerations and SKU's of the same console? I play console because its a standard. I don't want to be in the same situation PC owners are in. Its fine to change the form factor (like PS2 slimline) but not functionality.

Oh these Sony haters. I've become convinced that this anti-Sony sentiment is some Japan-US rivalry. Perhaps spurned by the fact that the Microsoft consoles are reviled in Japan. This has touched a nerve amongst the Americans and causes this rampant Anti-Sonyism. I wonder if Nintendo will be on the receiving end of this should they win this console war. That this site and all the collection of fanboys commenting on it could take a record breaking launch for Sony and make it bad news is nothing short of phenominal. Its also the tone of the article itself:
"So, widespread cancellations and the console still broke sales records? Then why are there still units on the shelves?" I can almost see some scheming, bitter, twister hack concocting these words and rubbing his hands gleefully. Classic.

I'm with Mr Who. He seems like a reasonable individual. I will buy it too and so will many, many other people I know. This is because to this day my PS2 is still the sh*t as was my PS1 before it. If you want a mini buy a Wii; if you want a smoother ride then pay for it. You get what you pay for. I must say though the Xbox 360 is a good prospect and I was tempted. Also Europe will have a proper launch with a good number of decent games. And to the price in the UK - ever heard of Rip Off Britain? Oh Well, I guess that's what happens when you have the most powerful currency in the world.
