HMm I think those guys are what the industry needs really. At least idiots who do whatever they say are following somewhat intelligent people who have some weight when it comes to making a difference in the state of the industry.

Are there any ftp versions left up anywhere? I can't stand the 43 day bittorrent quest.

They should hire people like Piercey to actually run that channel (or at least host) - The channel just seems like something my grandparents might watch if they all of a sudden peaked an interest in video games.

Don't they know that most people don't enjoy anything about their channel? (most people = people without massive brain damage bordering on vegetable level)

It seems to me that G4 can't take criticism at all; which has been their problem to begin with. Instead of listining to their fan(s) (when they had them) they just assumed that they knew what they were doing - I would like to say that the committed seppuku - but there is no honor left in G4.

"pretty-good" and "worth kicking about" don't scream "awesome" to me- I have not yet been able to justify buying a 250 dollar portable system and paying 40 (even 50!) for some of the games on it out there.

The PSP has yet to have anything close to a "killer-app" and that's killing me.

and a side note - I have no idea how burnout on the psp got a 8.5 on anything, the entire game made me feel like I was playing "sunday driving legends" - talk about slow. (Yes, it did suck on the DS more, wo0!)

Oh, and just for ha-ha's give me a list of "good" PSP games - go ahead, I'll pwn it.

Honestly, the PSP has what, 3 good games at the most? I'm not trying to bash Sony but they dropped the ball with software. I'm not trying to be all fanboy-like, I'm just calling it as I see it.

It's annoying that people constantly bash Joystiq when they say anything - it's a videogame weblog; last time I checked the DS was obviously a more superior videogame handheld just based on gameplay quality.

Note the word -game-.

Hate to break it to you Tesla, but Nintendo has made about 10 times more games that I enjoy on the DS. I have both - I'm just holding out due to the fact that the PSP is a slick piece of hardware - I'm hoping the fall will make me feel better about it; at the least I'll have a (more) portable PSone.
