Great list. Dragon Quest is by far my favorite series. 7 is the only one I haven't finished (5 and 7 being my least favorites). Im hoping DQ 1-3 get a DS remake.
I really need to play Mother sometime. I know I would enjoy it.
So how about Cosmic Fantasy? ;) (Yes, I still love my TG16!)
I really like the idea of this game. It will probably be cheesy but might be fun to play anyway. I think it's sad that we won't get it in the US. BTW there are plenty of naughty board games that have been out for years.
I also HATE when people say things like, "As a family friendly console, Wii must ensure that there are proper checks and a full consultation before games are graded for use by children." It's this stupid mindset that keeps Wii from getting more hard core/adult games. I am an adult. I play Wii. Some games are for me, some are for my children. It is no more or less "family friendly" than my other consoles.
I've been a DW/DQ fan since I was young. I've played through every single US game (NES, GBC, PS, PS2, Wii, DS). I am about 5 hours in and so far DQ6 is proving to be one of my favorites. I love the dual worlds. It seems like Yuuji Horii was playing Zelda 3 when they made this game but that's okay. Zelda 3 is still my favorite Zelda game :)
So far, I have not had any problems with difficulty and have barely had to grind at all. I am so glad that Nintendo published this game. It has been missing a US translation for far too long!
I never had any desire to buy a DC. I had owned a Genesis previously but was always drawn more towards Nintendo. I also hate when people whisper on commercials! The DC commericals ended with a female whisering, "It's thinking." Uggh, I hated those commercials.
So, one day in the fall of 2000, I was at a Fry's Electronics and I was wandering around the game section. There was a game displayed that had maracas. For some reason I wanted to try it even though it looked kind of lame. I also don't really like latin music. However, as soon as I started playing Samba de Amigo, I was hooked. It was the most fun thing that I had played in a long time. I didn't end up buying it that day for some reason.
I ended up getting a Dreamcast, Samba, and a set of maracas for Christmas from my girlfriend!! I found out she had to wait in line for almost 2 hours to get it because of Christmas shopping! To this day, I still love playing it. I can't wait to play it on our Wii.
It seems weird that at 2:16 (remaining) you can see the Zelda disc placed on top of the Wii. It's hard to tell if the gold disc was placed on top of it. The blue disc definitely was not placed on top. Then at 1:04 (remaining) you can see a new disc pulled from below that is also Zelda. Why would they put in Zelda second if they plan to actually play Zelda at the end? Also, at 1:03 (remaining) the Zelda disc goes out of view. The angle of the Zelda disc and the poor quality of the video could easily be hiding the fact that a real Zelda disc was actually inserted into the Wii.
Anyways, I will still buy my games. HOWEVER, if this is real, I hope someone can use what they've learned to make a mod to add homebrew channels including a Dreamcast emulator!
