May 4th 2010 4:58PM (Engadget)Nexus One review
Jan 5th 2010 12:38AM (Engadget)As for this specific review, I find it weird how many times you mentioned that the UI design updates were only cosmetic and not functional. This is something I don't remember seeing in reviews of any Apple products. A huge part of the iPhone's appeal is the cosmetic look of its products, the iphone doesn't need shiny icons, or physic effects, but those parts were praised when it has it, and no one felt the need to state multiple times how its not "functional".
Another weird part was how you said the Nexus One's browser scrolling was choppy, when (atleast in that video) it looked just fine to me. The only difference is saw is the iPhone has a slower scroll speed while Androids is faster (and you were flicking the screen quite fast, which is probably based on your use of the iPhone). The Droid on the other hand did seem choppy.
One last thing, in the part about the new gallery, the review fails to mention the use of the accelerometer to add another "cosmetic" effect which moves the picture grid around.
