Finding the Morph Ball in the very first Metroid. Five seconds in, I know, but it just blew me away that I found an item and now my character could do something he (I thought) couldn't do before. Revolutionary.

The first one. What a great game. Groundbreaking. Incerdible. No one could have expected or demanded it to be THAT awesome. But it was.

You're definitely not the only one, N.D. I read thourgh the entire thread of comments hoping to one like yours, one that expressed the same feeling I had of "Hmm, someone did a full Metroid reskin of some childish Michael Bay style "I'M SO BADASSSSS" game.

Kung Fu movies are super, super awesome. But they are not Metroid games.

I really hope people are right, that this is just a trailer and they were trying to win over weird, twitchy, muscle-bound (in their imaginations) gamers. That there are actual Metroid-y parts, in equal measure to this testosto-fest, in the actual game.

I really, really hope.

But I can't say I'm optimistic.

GUitar Hero 3 b/c I can play on my Wii, and it's got that Tom MOrello Battle. Hoooooooooooooo, boy thats good.

Acworth, GA, of all places. Staying at my father-in-law's, of all places.

But 6 days of literally jack s*** needing to be done, super hot weather with a pool 3 blocks away, and my kid, getting to really swim for the first time without me freaking out about waves and undertows. And I ate ribs 3 times in 6 days. And fried pickles. Come. On.

Boston - More Than A Feeling. And that's out of an incredibly stacked field. But come on! Boston themselves sold their sould to the devil just so they could have a career -- all just for an excuse to get to play this song over and over again thoughout their lives. It's the funenst, most baddest-ass song in town!

YEAH!

The idea of playing this song is getting me excited about Guitar Hero in a a way I haven't been since.. well, since before I had ever played it. Woo hoo!
