Being a good neighbor in SimCity

@Demon G Sides yeah, I see what you're saying. I like the idea of large, impacting changes though, and I think it steers into MMO territory if your own city can greatly impact that of others.

Wouldn't mind that sorta gameplay, honestly. Maybe some sort of alternate online game play mode or something to compliment the more traditional style.

@gordogg24p I never saw much success until I started messing with the budget sub-screens. most people outright avoid them (myself included at first) and think they can just build until they run out of money.

I mess around with taxes, ordinances, and other resource allocations and neighbor deals to at least ensure i make a slight profit each month. In 3000 and 4, that usually meant I had to legalize gambling and bump the police budget to counter the crime that came with it.

I know people would rather avoid such micromanagement, but when I learned how to do even the simplest tricks with it, I always ended up with awesome cities and money to burn fixing UFO invasions.

I wonder if all these social features mean the game will only be playable in real-time. In past games, you can speed up things to expedite your zone development and so on... (I preferred the llama setting).

With all these things being shared across the region, I don't see how I could speed up the time passing in my city without screwing with the development of someone else's. God forbid I build a coal empire and let 300 in-game years pass by on high speed while my buddy works slower and gets caught up in my smog.

Just a thought. Looking forward to seeing more though. I've always enjoyed this series.

I enjoyed the browser disk, but only because it had Sega Swirl on it.

The balloon by dad reference was perfect. Now we only need to finish the analogy buy jailing those responsible.

I love it! I enjoyed the first game, unlike some people I've talked to. The sequel's multiplayer seems much more balanced and crisp, and I've really been happy with my purchase.

If you wanna play with someone that is not a screaming racist 12-year old lunatic, give me a friend request on the 360, im always looking for squadmates, and the biomass is much more fun than the random crap flung at you in matchmaking.

Halo: Reach ViDoc heads Once More Unto the Breach

I agree, Since this is (allegedly) Bungie's last go around with Halo, I expect Microsoft to publicize the crap out of this game, as it should be. Frankly, I'm surprised the VGA trailer wasn't played at the Superbowl. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

Customization: They show a wider array of attachments to your character than in Halo 3, such as shoulder pads, grenade belts, and so on

Stealth Kills: Think Assassin's creed. You get close enough to an Elite and when you hit the melee button, you jump on his back and stab him with a combat knife. pretty cool, if you ask me

Sprinting: Pretty much what you've seen in other recent shooters, although its a perk, not a feature. You have to choose this perk over things such as shields or power drain. essentially this perk feature appears to replace/enhance the equipment feature from halo 3

Hope that helps!
