Rumor: Sonic Adventure coming to XBLA

Jan 11th 2010 1:57PM (Joystiq)
This game will bring back a lot of my younger days. As a life long sonic fan, this is hardly a step in the wrong direction (like that 2006 piece of #*$!)

also the thought of an xbox live version of the Chao system really makes me smile. I enjoyed that part of the game.

any chance for VMU support microsoft?

I think that certain wireless keyboards do work, but don't quote me on that. As long as it doesn't require a driver install it should work, and since some wireless keyboard dongles will work without special drivers on the pc side, its worth a shot. It really comes down to trial and error. I dont imagine bluetooth dongles would work since those need both driver and stack support, both of which the xbox wont have since theres no bluetooth chip inside.

Hope that helps.

I've been meaning to hook up with other joystiqers online, this seems as good a time as any. i have a good group of friends I play with regularly who will be all over this game too, so if you need a few extra players to fill some slots, gimme a friend request. See you on the battlefield

ive read multiple comments about how "ugly" the zoomed in look is, but I think its not outside the realm of possibility that you could "pinch" to zoom out? it is a multi-touch device, after all...

We have yet to get our hands on it and people already finding reasons to knock it down

Activision threatens to drop Sony if Sony doesn't drop PS3 and PSP prices

Jun 19th 2009 10:45AM (Engadget)
Something similar to this happened not too long ago.

Remember the death of HD-DVD? All the major movie publishers pulled out of the format after Warner did. The waterfall effect caused the format to die.

In terms of video games, I could honestly see third party game developers following Activision/Blizzard out the door. Granted, Activision is only threatening at this point, but even the threat itself is horrible press for Sony, and Sony really needs good press right now (which it isn't getting).

This is worse than losing third party exclusivity (aka final fantasy, Metal Gear, GTA). If this threat actually has weight behind it, I fear the end is nigh for the PS brand.

Also, dreamcast owners, does any of this sound familiar to you? It's happening again...

higher MP cameras don't require much in terms of hardware space to implement. A 3MP as an upgrade is a small one. Sure, you don't need a high MP count, but for a "high quality product" wouldn't the best possible upgrade be just that much more to add to a new model phone?

The bottom line is that other manufacturers, for the nearly same price, are putting better hardware together. and most of the time they are almost identical in form factor to that of the iphone.

Zak, stop trying to protect apple from the undeniable fact that they are skimping on things like this just because they know they will sell a large amount of phones anyway. just because its an 'upgrade' doesn't mean its a good upgrade.

One step forward, two steps back. Still not multitasking. Late with features like cut and paste, MMS, and video camera capabilities.

I'm not really an apple fan, although I'll be the first to concede to their ingenuity. However, today I'm really not seeing much here that apple fans can shout about to convince me that this wasnt kind of a lame upgrade.
