When did you fall in love with the Mac?
Feb 14th 2006 10:44AM (TUAW.com)I had them at school and (was) bought my first in 1991. Went to an Apple Centre to buy a Classic and walked out with an LC. the awesome power os the 8MHZ chip, the opulent 8mb of RAM, the 20MB of hard disc space. Bliss.
I upgraded from an Amiga. I had an Amiga 1000 so the Apple UI did feel - 'ow you say - familiar
I remember the moment I was taken down and smitten. Playing with a sound editingprogram - can't remember which - and saying things backwards then reversing and playing. Magic.
