Uh, your blog post actually has the words "new greedy model" in it. Please don't remove it; that would be dishonest (and I already have a screenshot).

I honestly don't see the reason for these services.. Mostly, I think it's because of incidents like these ... how much personal info do we want evern our friends to see ... http://exm.nr/bcZmCZ

Microsoft Security Essentials 2 beta now available for download

As good as McAfee or Symantec? Maybe, but def. not as good as NOD32. Every time MSE would update itself, it would slow my system to a crawl. Additionally, it only updates once a day, as do most freeware AVs, rather than the multiple times a day done by other paid-for AVs.

My guess is that once they discovered folks heard about it being deleting, they simply restored it.

@Kid Red Web slows down? Even if you're not dropping calls, that's an obvious problem unrelated to mere display of signal bars.

Cellphones are dangerous/not dangerous, watch your kidneys edition

David, that's a good catch.

There seem to be many inconsistencies in the original story that Textually picked up on. For example, The Research Institute for Electronic Components, Bucharest no longer exists. It was merged into the National Institute for Research and Development in Micro and Nanotechnologies in --- yep, 1999.

Professor Edward Tuddenham is no longer with the Imperial College Medical School; he's been with University College London since 2005.

More about the inconsistencies here.

iPhone 3G reception just fine say curious Swedes with engineering degrees

Aug 25th 2008 10:19AM (Engadget Mobile)
All this says is that for ONE iPhone the antenna was fine. Statistically, they need to test more than one. And it doesn't rule out the Infineon chipset or firmware.
