WRUP: PAX East approaches

Mar 30th 2012 10:54PM (Joystiq)
I hope Joystiq also checks out Anime Boston, as that is also happening next weekend too. :)

Rovio not planning public stock offering in 2012

I think Angry Birds is finally losing a bit of popularity. I haven't played it in awhile.

Nintendo, EA and Sony also rescind SOPA support

Dec 30th 2011 6:47PM (Joystiq)
I just hope SOPA and Protect IP die out completely over the next month. It doesn't help anyone like us AT ALL, and just gives the big companies all the power to do what they want, which in the end makes them think they'll be making more money when in fact they'll just be destroying the internet.

Valve: Any Half-Life 3 clues are 'community trolling the community'

Dec 30th 2011 3:49AM (Joystiq)
You don't know how badly I want to scream right now at Valve. Why won't they just give the fans that have been waiting patiently for over 4 years now even a tiny glimpse of what they want?!?!

Portal 2 crowned best game of 2011 by the Associated Press

Dec 20th 2011 7:17PM (Joystiq)
Anyone that doesn't vote Portal 2 as the best game of the year obviously doesn't like Lemonade.

PAX East 2012 tickets now available

Nov 4th 2011 5:18AM (Joystiq)
It's going to be insane next April, because Anime Boston is also that weekend. I hope they turn Boston into a complete geek/otaku fest that weekend. :)

PSN Breach: What it means for you, and for Sony

Apr 27th 2011 2:51PM (Joystiq)
"I truly don't think they will lose many customers over this,"

Ummm...if I'm going to use a service where ALL of my personal information is exposed, I'm certainly not going to use it again anytime soon.

Sony is going to REALLY get slammed with lawsuits on this one.

Mass. town to consider lifting 29-year ban on coin-op games

Apr 25th 2011 7:00PM (Joystiq)
I live in MA and also work at an arcade here in this state, and that is the most stupid ban I've ever heard of.

People are allowed to have a fun time playing games, and it just shows that some towns are too butt-hurt to think that people are spending money on stuff they want to ENJOY, like video games as an example.

As an arcade worker, I REALLY hope this repeal passes.

Duke Nukem Forever being completed as 3D Realms envisioned

Feb 9th 2011 2:08PM (Joystiq)
It really does look like an AMAZING game. I am SO excited for this!
