Sony Ericsson's BST-33 Li-Polymer batteries swelling into a lawsuit?

Definitely overcharging. I used to see it all the time when a customer would leave their phones charging overnight all the time.

Windows 7 beta tested, photo'd, deemed 'massive improvement' over Vista

Dec 30th 2008 4:29PM (Engadget)
Vista upgrades were only about $160.

Full versions were more.

And no, this is not stuff that could have been doled out in a Service Pack.

Parts of the kernel were improved, new taskbar and windows behavior, DX11, support for virtual HDD's, support for up to 64 processors, and way wayyyyyyyy more. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7#Features)

True, Ubuntu is free and Leopard is $130. But Ubuntu is meant to be free and Apple makes an overhead on hardware.

Microsoft is a software company.

Are you going to piss and moan about Adobe charging $600 for "an upgrade that should have been taken care of in a service pack"?

Please, do us all a favor and stop talking about things you very obviously know nothing about.

Im sorry, but I'm getting sick of all these noob wannabe-techies talking crap about * (INSERT->Linux, OS X, Windows) like they know what the hell their talking about.
Just admit that you don't know crap about what you pretend to spout.
WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! I don't like the new task bar, the install disk is too big, they stole that from *, it just works, why can't my Win 95 pc run this, whats an .iso, why is OS X so slow on my g3, Vista/XP bluescreens all the time (drivers, what are those?)

RTFM morons!

If you don't know what your saying, either state that your don't know what your talking about or just shut up all together.

FWIW, Win7 6956 ran like a dream and B1 is that much better, I'm actually using it right now and not only is it stable, its fast as hell.

And to the people whining about "too many versions", are you really that slow that you can't figure out what one would work for you? FOR DEVELOPED COUNTRIES (minus Europe) THERE ARE ONLY 3 VERSIONS AVAILABLE TO CONSUMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Basic- for low spec'd "basic" users.
Home Premiums- For most of the consumer market
Ultimate- For power users and enthusiasts.
But I guess that's too much choice for you.
I'd hate to see the look on your face when you pull up to a gas pump.

In closing.
STOP PRETENDING TO KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT.

The OS X Leopard disk is on a dual-layer hybrid disk. The BootCamp part is only about 500-600 MB.
A lot of the space I believe comes from things such as drivers and extra programs.

NOT bloatware.

If you knew your way around a computer, you would know that only pre-made Sonys, Dells, etc. come with real bloatware.
