Possibly one of the most truthful feeling touchpads I've used on the iPhing. I'm TOTALLY against onscreen controls, but this one felt right.
I was left+right'ing without even looking at it.
Absolute perfection, or at least for me, anyway.

2 Million restarts of Windows, in less than 2 days?!
Good gravy, not even Update Whateverday gets that many restarts!

This is ABSOLUTELY the reason to have one of these.
Sure, sometimes you'll want to kick back, pop Winamp on "Shuffle my Hard Drive", and get it's visualiser to swoosh around for hours.

But if you're flicking through a bunch of tracks in Explorer, you want something that loads quickly, and most importantly closes quickly, too!

(apologies, I watched the Jackoffasaur episode of South Park, this morning..)

For you and I, maybe, but for everyone who bought a First Gen iPod Classic, there's a pretty darn good possibility they also have iTunes v0.00005 on their system to go with it.
Not everyone updates, and a whole great big pile of "none-techy" folk have older iTunes on their systems.
By referencing iTunes, you can quite happily say "Here's something that a lot of people might have on their system", and that'll get the news out a little better, assuming folk actually bother to warn their none-techy friends and family.. Or at the very least, do the update for them.

Please, Roxio, don't be the next Team 17!

Give us amazing variety in your wonderful style, and don't get stuck on a single annoyingly repetitive brand that sucks the life out of your company, changing you overnight from the most loved Amiga brand, with a fantastic array of games, to "The worms guys"....
