En Masse 'communicating directly with retailers' over TERA pre-order blunders

Feb 7th 2012 5:22AM (Massively)
My digital copy works just fine. The physical CE copy that costs $20 extra for nothing really special. All they have to do atm is reserve the regular copy at like a Gamestop and just move it over when the CE is in the system. But the main problem is I don't think people have gotten their beta keys from them yet.

Meet the guild that's lasted over 16 years

So they are the reasons I can blame for bugs and lack of changes that should happen to a game. And it's not a guild when you have that many members.

TERA's EU sneak peek weekend canceled due to unknown technical fault

Feb 5th 2012 2:53PM (Massively)
@Dgmikep It is known that the former employees were convicted in Korea of stealing trade secrets from NCsoft in 2009 and the convictions were mostly upheld by an appellate court. NCsoft also filed a civil complaint against the individuals and Bluehole in Korea in 2010 and won damages and an injunction. However, the damages award was overturned by an appellate court.

They are hoping the US will sing a different tune in stopping a US launch, but since Korea and other places launched there is little chance of it getting stopped in the US.

@Maseno It's out in Korea so that should tell you there won't be a problem. Sure some guys got jail time for what they did, but it was something like selling NCsoft secrets and they were allowed to keep TERA.

TERA's EU sneak peek weekend canceled due to unknown technical fault

@Dgmikep The damage was already done in Korea so there is nothing going to happen that would keep TERA from launching in the US. By the time it makes it to court with a verdict the game will already be out.

En Masse outlines policy for TERA IP blocking [Updated]

Jan 30th 2012 5:10AM (Massively)
TERA will launch no matter what. Since the company is from Korea and they already went thru all the legal hassles and stuff. All that could happen is being fined. This is just NCsoft being the typical trash company they are. Aion was trash, and GW2 is ArenaNet's doing.

We need to let the organization that supports the gay relationship know about this and let them fight it out.

I've noticed a bit more response in pressing my skills so kudos to Bioware for finally addressing this.

Massively Exclusive: NEOWIZ GAMES gets bloody with Seven Souls Online debut trailer [Updated]

@Matix The MMO market can't get more innovated. What could you possibly think of that would innovate a game that would seriously work and get people attached to the game to make it serious money? You should be happy they haven't started using Kinect for an MMO.

Rumor: WAR40K canceled, THQ readying itself for sale [Updated; rumor debunked]

So will it be EA or Activision that ends up buying THQ? Whoever wins we lose.
