X-Men III looks good?!?! Did we watch the same trailer? Lame costumes, lame settings (suburbs, forests, etc), and lame rehashed story from X2.

Now DOA does looks cheesy, but so is the game. Plus, the actresses should have been chosen by breast size. I probably won't see it.

You forget to realize a few things:

-Many people don't trust SONY anymore: empty PS2 HDD promises, DRM scandals, lack of PSP supoort, lack of PS3 information, etc.

-Like it or not XBOX 1 was the best designed console on the market: standard HDD, a great online community, easily modded (not intended), GREAT company support (they actually listen when people don't like the controller), built in Network Card, easiest to program for, even the break away cords (saved me from several console drops), etc.

-Nobody thought that XBOX would succeed. Here we are now, with SONY trying to copy with their online market.

-Face SONY and Nintendo have one thing over Mircosoft... GAMES. That will change soon. Blue Dragon, Gears of War, HALO 3, Ninety-Nine Nights, eNCHANT ARm, Mass Effect just to name a few. SONY? another Final Fantasy? another Tekken? Nintendo? another Mario? another Zelda? Those games are great, but where's the innovation?

If this succeeds, they stand to make A LOT of money.
- The next generation of billboard and bus ads.
- Put it in the dash of a car and project various vitals onto the windshield.
- Or imagine a GPS navigation system that prject arrows onto the windshield when a turn is coming up.
- PSP and Ipod add-on for movie sharing (Well, when they up the resolution of course).

I don't know if someone mentioned this or not... Yes, SONY can beat iTunes. SONY has over 80-100 million ps2 units sold. If a third of that market share buys a ps3, they've already outsold the iPod. Take that with the fact that most people only play music from iTunes on a computer. With the ps3, you hook it up to your entire media center. Plus, higher resolution video downloads. SONY is going after Microsoft, Tivo, Nintendo, and Apple.

I hope they succeed because I hate Apple.

(I'm still a XBOX 360 fanboy though)

I'm going to wait until a price is released.

BUT... Sony may be shooting itself in the foot with the HDD (again).

Doesn't it take years to create a game? This game should have already been in development before Nintendogs was released.

Nope. Yuke has develop a different interface to compensate for the lack of touchscreen.
