Aug 22nd 2007 8:31AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Luigi wasn't exactly difficult to unlock, though. You didn't even have to finish the game first, just know what buttons to press to play as him. I got the game the day it was released and figured out how to play him before I even started my first playthrough. It wasn't exactly a secret that he was in the game.
But yeah, I'd love to hear that he's making an appearance in Galaxy. Hopefully playable, but honestly, I'll take anything rather than having him left out completely.
Note to bachelors: Sonic figures are a turn-off
Apr 2nd 2007 4:41PM (Joystiq)Customer service stories
Jan 8th 2007 10:16AM (Joystiq)Personally, I've always been very impressed with Nintendo's customer service. Now, it seems like as a company, they do the most to try to keep their customers happy, but the customer service representatives have also always been extremely friendly and helpful. Even when my very much out-of-warranty GameCube started getting disc read errors and there wasn't much I could do other than pay to send it in for repair, the customer service rep was joking around with me and keeping me laughing as I went through the standard cleaning procedures even though I was ultimately kind of screwed.
Also, I've been a Nintendo Power subscriber for over 17 years now, and over the years, I've had a few issues get lost in the mail. Even though this was almost certainly the fault of the post office, Nintendo has replaced the missing issues every time without question.
My experiences with Comcast have been kind of so-so. Usually the hardest part is just getting through to an actual human being. I've never had to call them myself, but I've had a lot of friends who have called Sega's customer service over the years and have spoken very highly of it (especially during the Dreamcast days and with their online games).
