80% of mobile videos watched happen on iOS devices

@TheBasicMind

If you spend your evenings at home watching porn on an iMac, why do you care about whether or not a mobile device can play flash video or not?

Apple slapped with federal lawsuit over location tracking

Apr 26th 2011 12:47AM (TUAW.com)
Nb4

1) Location data is stored locally and isn't transmitted to Apple or anyone else without express permission of the end user.

2) 3 months of Apple haters incorrectly saying that Apple is spying on their users, only to be thoroughly debunked soon after. Followed by years of haters repeating the rumor without actually doing any research.

3) It's revealed in court that the location feature in and of itself would not work without the data and it is a more common practice than most people understand.

Nobody deserves to have their property stolen by a useless slug that's too lazy to go out and do some honest work.

Shooting at Apple Store in San Diego leaves one robbery suspect dead

Apr 4th 2011 8:52PM (TUAW.com)
"Taking a life is always a serious matter. "

1 dead crook = saved taxpayer money and one less crook on the streets

I won't shed a single tear for the crook or his accomplices. He brought a gun, he deserved what he got. Natural selection wins again.

The amount of force used is perfectly justified. The guy was armed and presented a lethal threat. So, he was met with lethal force. His accomplices capability of delivering lethal force is an unknown factor. Once their buddy drew a gun, they both became viable targets as well.

You can't sue for wrongful death if you or someone you're with pulls out a weapon and gets shot as a result. >:O

The guy that pulled out the gun out is more or less -responsible- for just about EVERYTHING that happens afterwards.

What happened here is self-defense. Once the guy pulled out the weapon, it became a matter of defending the life of the security guard and the people that work at the store, not about protecting some property.

Well, Apple pays above minimum wage... not to mention a nice benefits package for retail...

Also, the person that shot the guy was a security guard. I can guarantee that person was not working for minimum wage.
