Aussie drivers: Buy a cradle, or no iPhone GPS for you
Sep 28th 2009 8:12PM (TUAW.com)The other option I guess is an iPod Touch, with the Tom Tom app and cradle. There's no phone there either.
What's the difference?

Sep 28th 2009 7:42PM (TUAW.com)Nintendo announces Nintendo DSi
Oct 2nd 2008 5:40AM (Joystiq Nintendo)You obviously just don't like Nintendo, and their success. Because your initial, pointless, comment was equally applicable to the PSP, and the PSOne, and the PS2 Slim etc etc. Yet you argue with those who point this out to you.
Grow up, and save your bait for someone who gives a hoot.

Oct 2nd 2008 1:30AM (Joystiq Nintendo)You got to wonder what Nintendo are thinking sometimes! If they ignore WPA & WPA2 for WiFi security this time round, I'll be gobsmacked.

Oct 2nd 2008 1:29AM (Joystiq Nintendo)I agree with Ironraptors reply....
What was your reason for bagging Nintendo for 'milking' it again, when Sony do exactly the same with the PSP.
The DS is successful, they are selling boatloads of them. Why not update and add more features?

Oct 2nd 2008 1:18AM (Joystiq Nintendo)I just hope someone had the sense to add WPA & WPA2 as wifi security options.
I won't change my network security for a DS.
Rumor: Rock Band may never come to Australia
Aug 17th 2008 8:48PM (Joystiq)I'm a retailer/renter of games, and I have no intention of stocking Rock Band. Cut me/us some slack guys... should we continue to take this crap from EA, or do we put our foot down at some stage and say enough is enough already. So many people that actually want it have already imported it, so we're wasting our money to put something on the shelves that is a year old and probably won't sell that well.
I hope EA lose a stack of cash, and Rock Band crashes and burns in AU. It'll teach them to treat us like poo. I also hope that you, as Aussie consumers, back the retailers in sending EA a message from down-under.
Here's a big middle-finger from one Aussie gamer/retailer to EA. Man I'm so glad they didn't get there rotten mitts on GTA!
Movies now showing in NZ and Australian iTunes stores
Aug 14th 2008 6:24PM (TUAW.com)If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Buy it on DVD instead. No one is forcing you to spend the money on iTunes.
Trouble is, you, and many others are more likely to illegally acquire it than do the right thing, which is why these prices are as they are.
If I sound bitter, it's because I am somewhat. I run a DVD store, and while the iTunes Movie store doesn't bother me too much, what does get my goat is that they are selling movies before they are even released on DVD.

Aug 14th 2008 6:20PM (TUAW.com)That's a joke coming from someone who obviously has NO respect for the movie industry by downloading ripped movies.
