It's pretty clear that the video game trailer focused on the American slave trade, so it's pretty obvious to anybody with half a brain that Red Runner is referring to the American slave trade as well. I'm sure you can find instances of slaves in America who were not African, but they were incredibly rare.

The fact that you took what could have been a productive discussion about race and made it about you trying to make someone feel stupid and guilty makes YOU worse than Red Runner by a LONG SHOT.

I'm pretty sure this isn't meant to be funny. It's supposed to raise awareness of the torture that many slaves endured. It also is supposed to highlight the ruthlessness and callous of slave traders.

@Theneverendingsoda Although I disagree with the poster that called your comment a "troll," Gamestop is one of the biggest and most influential retailers in the US. It would defy journalistic integrity for Joystiq to refuse to post Gamestop-related posts.

That being said, it would be a classy move for Gamestop to work out a deal to help developers profit from used game sales.

I'd venture to say that most sets of Mega Blocks are bought by people who are over 50.
