Palm must think more of useability and not just form. It's great to have a keyboard, but what good is it if it's unuseable? Blackberry is coming out with a Pre killer. It may not look as sexy as a Pre but it will sell 10x better because of useabilty. Palm sold alot of Centros with a crappy keyboard, and thought it could do the same with the Pre. NOT. People were attracted by the cheap price. But now alot of smartphone have cheap prices. Build a better usable smartphone Palm!!! It's that simple!!!

And how much would all that cost?

Build Pre with higher grade like glass and metal, and ask a software keyboard, plus landscape option in each app.

Palm completely ripped off the iphones multi-touch capabilities to the tee. Which is why I can't buy Palms stock. I mean if it was so easy to rip off the 'pinch' why didn't Microsoft do it already?

Yes, Apple bought PA Semi, but it doesn't mean that that excludes other vendors from providing chips from them. What is does do is provide pricing leverage. If Apple is not happy with pricing it can design it's own chips. Brilliant!!!
