I actually bought a wireless controller, even though I don't yet have a 360, because I got a good deal and should be able to use it with my PC. I might consider getting the Live Vision cam and the HD DVD drive, if HDMI is ever available.
Someone mentioned Rez, which reminded me of the Trance Vibrator. Sony could simply release a USB (or even wireless) device that is independent of the controller. It's not impossible...
He's not a gamer -- he just plays one on TV. And as we all know the stereotypical gamer is an annoying buffoon. That's the only thing I have against him: he perpetuates the socially-inept, irritating gamer stereotype.
I am surprised at how big a deal everyone is making of this story. I LOVE games and sometimes even play them at work; HOWEVER, I don't do it when my boss is around and definitely wouldn't do it if the CEO was around. Games are not to be played at work. Why shouldn't that be grounds for termination? The contract I signed upon my hire states that READING is not allowed on the job, not even the newspaper. So I could be fired for reading on the job. Should I be? Probably not, but they have every right to do so. I wonder what the contract says about posting comments on a blog during work...
