@2 There's actually a set path you can use to get past 5000 km every time. It was mentioned on the xbox.com forums when the game released.

Something I haven't seen yet, actual races against players. I'm not really liking the open world direction they're going. Most likely gonna rent it but this is the first Burnout game I see myself turning down.
I was hoping for next-gen Burnout 3.

I personally think that if there is one, it'll be during the holidays since MS knows they *will* get a surge of 360s bought with Halo 3's release. Then during the holidays, a price drop will be news and worth it for some people.
