I wish you luck, Franz. You are funniern'SHIT!!! Take it to some company that will pay you for the design and manufacture a unibody extrusion w/ some dimension to it. Then, folks will buy it, and you can move to Fiji.

Do it FAST!!! Refine the design and render a scale model w/ modelling clay.....

Copyright it, and go make your play!!

Viva La FRANZ!!

Actually, I think the proper spelling is "Devillock"!

I hope this guy gets rich, because he is a RIOT!

It's a cool concept.... But he should have sold it to Korg or somthin'. Now, any numbskull can ape the design for $20.

DS Fanboy Review: Soul Bubbles

Yes, well I wouldn't call that "gay".

Firstly it's inappropriate.

Furthermore, I've met some "gay" people who could probably put you through the WALL.

DS Daily: That's just low

Jun 30th 2008 8:47AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I look at the average score by reviewers (as calculated by Metacritic), and if it's anywhere in the 70's or below, I'll dig deeper to see if there is a genre-rift scoring trend.... That is to say, some genres simply confound a lot of younger or less-than-hardcore old-school gamers, and tend to get wildly varying scores. For example, Shirin, or Rebelstar.

So, if I see a game gets a 70's average, further investigation yields whether it arrived at that average due to all-around lukewarm reviews, or if some gave it high-80's-90's, and some hater tossed is a 30 that tanked the entire average. So, even if a game averages 70's or even 60's, theres a good chance that its got that niche-game goodness that a few of us just jones for!

"RebelStar: Tactical Command" for the GBA averages 78%..... It is, hands down, the BEST GBA game for my money.

DS Daily: Too many devices

Jun 9th 2008 10:47AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Of course, no one is mentioning that the "app store" is fully functional for the iPod Touch, also.... not just the iPhone. I don't know if any of you have one, but I can tell you that it's the funnest piece of tech that I've ever had. I love it. 32gb is QUITE a bit of storage (for a flash memory-based player), and its thinner than the iPhone..... just elegant and beautiful. The processor is muscular, too. Think about it; with the right development teams on board, a LOT of possibilities exist here where they simply do not for current generation handheld game systems. How about a 2-3gb install? MASSIVE titles are possible, w/o info having to stream off of some klunky UMD. I see no reason why we cannot have Morrowind-style epics on this thing. To come off the grill, saying it will fail is short-sighted, to say the very least. Remember how many nay-sayers called the DS a gimmick, too weak to contend w/ the PSP? How the touch-screen was a mere fascination, and that it would wear thin quickly? That's a WHOLE lot of egg to have to wipe off later, perhaps.

iPhone and iPod Touch threaten DS dominance

Jun 6th 2008 8:34AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Well, I love my DS AND my PSP, but call me a dreamer. No one with faith in Apple ever went broke, despite their main thrust being in a business where Microsoft dominated 95% (give or take) of their specific market. I was amazed that Apple didn't fold sooner..... but look at their ingenuity. Their innovation and design savvy has put them on an untouchable level in the personal audio market. iPod is the Kleenex of the 21st century. Don't underestimate them.

The (top tier) iPod Touch has a 32gb drive in it. With a little creativity and big ambition, a development team could go anywhere with that device, given its processing power and its 3D chip. A 3gb install? Not a problem. 10 games with a 1gb install each? Easy to do, with THAT device. We just need to dream, people. The Touch could be AMAZING, with the right teams on board. People said the DS, with its inferior (to the PSP) muscle and "gimmick-y" touch screen, was just a novelty. Well, look at it now. So don't be so quick to shoot down the idea, because nay-sayers often end up looking REALLLLY stupid.
