I'll save judgment until I play it, but so far I'm not too impressed.

I don't get why people are bashing the graphics?

This game is gorgeous. Everything is rendered in 3d (unlike Gears of War which uses pre-rendered backgrounds giving it a flat look).

The sun effects are amazing. The bump mapping is ridiculous. And the multi-player is smooth. Ultra smooth.

And the campaign has been awesome so far. I've been playing it on Legendary with just 2 people, and it rocks. There's plenty of cool moments where you get outnumbered and gunned, and it's half the fun to figure out how to get past the parts. Yeah the marines are and friendly AI are stupid, but you really won't care or notice when it comes down to it.

Those eyebrows are not normal. They are strictly added for the Japanese version to add more expression, because it's something they favor. Also the same with Ratchet having a more childish sounding voice as opposed to his teenage/20-year-old American voice.

Also, they need to bring that announcer to America. He rocks at being overly enthusiastic.

It's funny that most Blu-ray players alone run for $400-500, but a PS3 has a Blu-ray built in it and yet it's too expensive and has "no games". It is pretty funny that past the $399 point does make a huge difference in people's eyes.

So Fernando I'm trying to see where your Wii-ho attitude comes from and what games you are playing and having to diss the PS3 so much? Because with Blu-ray and Warhawk out, I've put more time in my PS3 than I have with my Wii.

For those who own all three systems do what I did. After calculating how much it was going to cost for me to buy all the games I wanted for PS3/360/Wii this year, I figured my total was going well into the $2000 range.

Instead I came to the conclusion: buy the TRULY awesome games that you know you'll play for a long time, for example the Halo 3's and Warhawks, Mass Effect so on...

Then just get Gamefly or Blockbuster or whatever and just play the new releases until your heart's content. Then send it back get another new release and so on. Screw buying all the games, I just want to play them.

A "demo" of this game would just not do the game justice. And for saying the shelves are "lined up with copies" at Wal-Mart or wherever, well I downloaded mine, as I'm sure many have as well.

Also badmouth Lair all you want. But dissing Warhawk for it's "motion sensor" controller means you haven't played it. Because you can turn it off.

And anyone who is badmouthing Warhawk just because it's on PS3 (OMGZ!!!!!!!), again, means you haven't played it and are obviously very ignorant to the fact that Warhawk is pretty awesome.

This game and Halo 3 are quite simply going to last me far past 2007.

Now, if SEGA would just get off their lazy asses and make VF 5 online for PS3 all would be right in the world. Although I'm looking forward to VF 5 online for the Xbox 360, the controller just isn't as good for fighters like the PS3. But achievements will be nice.

Oh and Tekken 5 online is pretty cool too. At least to tide over until Soul Calibur 4
