REPORT: Chevy Volt to start at $32,000 after tax credit?

Sep 14th 2009 8:26PM (Autoblog Green)
How many of these cars are they planning on actually producing? My understanding of the Volt is that "it won't sell a lot" but also "they aren't making a lot". This leads me to believe they will sell every Volt?

I shudder to think of the ramifications of having viruses that spread between living organisms. There could be viruses that cause you to break out in a rash, or even disable your immune system! Truly a terrifying future.

Nintendo recalls 200,000 DS and DS Lite adapters

Dec 15th 2006 10:15AM (Engadget)
Yeah Nintendo's sure made a mess, it infuriates me that my DSLite doesn't work anymore! Oh wait it does. In fact so does pretty much everyone's, it seems. What are we supposed to be caring about, exactly, the fact that there's a recall (of the japanese AC adapters for an unspecified reason)? If they were breaking or catching fire of course we would care.

Use your DS to control your PC

In fact, this person is not doing that!
This is the homebrew program PointyRemote that is one of two applications that allow you to control your PC via ds.
The homebrew community shouldn't be taken so lightly! This has been out for a while but people are still amazed by it. There is actually a working text-based browser for DSLinux nowadays!
Homebrew: not just for the PSP.

Zelda MMORPG

Feb 23rd 2006 11:51AM (Joystiq)
It is probably true, however. Nintendo won't make an MMO for a long time. Part of the reason they were so slow getting into the swing of online play was that they didn't want people to pay extra for an online service (or so I've heard), and the overhead for MMO servers would run counter to that. Also it runs the possibility of people talking to people they don't know through their service, which is something they are apparently staunchly opposed to.

Also if they did any MMO, of all their IPs, I think pokemon would work the best.

"We gamers claim to want open ended, free roaming games"?
Perhaps you meant MMO players claim this? Not everyone likes games of that type.
