PS3 Final Fantasy XIII includes 'XIV' bonus item, chance for beta access

Mar 9th 2010 1:49PM (Joystiq)
Quick question: If one uses a FFXIV code from the PS3 version of FFXIII, does that mean they are applying for the PS3 version of FFXIV? Or can they choose between PC and PS3?

I'm with you John. There is no way I can afford / find room for another complete band set-up. If Neversoft is smart (or Harmonix allows them), they'll make the RB peripherals work with GH.

But of course Neversoft's drums had to go and be different, so, there goes that idea. Oh well, your loss Neversoft.

Metareview: Smash Bros. Brawl

Mar 7th 2008 1:20PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I agree with most of the replies: If you're not into the fighting genre, then you probably won't like Smash. However, Smash is completely different from Virtua Fighter or Tekken in the sense that it's 2D and there aren't a lot of combos to memorize. Attacks are fairly simple (button + direction), but mastering them is what makes a player stand above the rest. Furthermore, Brawl allows you to customize not only what controller you use, but the buttons on that controller as well. Characters all have their own personality; it's fun learning each and every one of them. If your a big Nintendo fan, give Smash a try, you may like what you find!

Personally, I don't like playing fighters, but Smash reigns supreme in its own category. Truth to be told, Smash is my favourite game of all time, and I'm balls excited for Brawl. Yes, balls excited.
