Judging by the comments, there will be those paying for this. I certainly won't, but that's because I can't imagine needing more than the 6 slots they offer for free (purchase of the game).
Still they want around $10 for 250m per year. Hell, Google gives me 2GB for free, but then again it has some ads.
$10/250m=$40/GB
a 100GB hard drive would then cost $4000.00
I guess there is some bandwidth in there as well, but it doesn't seem like a good value at all.
#3: Do not expect BB to give you an HDMI 360 if you take your non HDMI unit in for product replacement. BB, somehow has an 'arrangement' with M$ to sell really old stock.
My first 360 from BB was May 2006 and the manufacture date was Dec 2005 (how did they still have launch boxes?!) A few months later I had to exchange again and the replacement box was also Dec 2005 manufacture date. A few months ago (June 2007) I exchanged yet again and the manufacture date is Jan 2006.
Bottom line is BB will have plenty of old 360s to replace your 360 with for at least another year or 2.
Tired of this. It's about time someone just released a AAA title with an AO rating and sold it themselves mail order. Have an M rated version for WalMart.
What I like about big name talent doing the voice acting is these are people who can actually act.
They understand things like pacing, tone, inflection and the affect it has on the mood.
I do agree that if the voice is one I instantly recognize it isn't the greatest, even if the voice acting is superb, but as of yet that has only been a problem in Oblivion and only because the same voices were used for so many NPCs. Hope that's not the case here.

Asking the family to pay M$ legal fees is just insulting.

Jul 15th 2007 3:15AM (Joystiq Xbox)Now a dumbed down version is coming out? I thought the original was mega dumbed down.
I agree with the above... let the handhelds and Nintendo have the stupid kiddy crap, lets get on with the real games.
GTAIV trailer is live. Thoughts?

DLC has yet to find the sweet spot
May 26th 2007 12:14AM (Joystiq Xbox)For any downloadable content to cost more than $5 is a rip off.
It's that simple.
No DVD to burn, no case, no manual, no middle man retailer just an electronic distribution of minor content that took weeks or months to make.
Grand Theft Auto IV images galore!
