It'll probably still be true, but yeah, looks like Sony jumped the gun a bit. I'd be excited too to get exclusive DLC :D

Skate isn't necessarily about realism, it's about innovation. In a market where one game dominated for many, many years, Skate came in, flipped the perspective, and is continuing to improve upon its original innovation.

I, for one, will definitely be picking this up.

I think the most important thing about this article is the fact that Sony is now offering more help to third-party devs, and that only spells more success for the PS3.

Love Soldat. This needs offline multiplayer, though. I think that's one of the appeals to the Wii. The only game I own that supports offline multiplayer is Madden 08, and that can get old pretty fast.

A Smash Bros. copy on the PS3 would be freaking awesome. Sucks to here this doesn't quite match up.

Sweet Jebus. Finally something to get rid of the bitter taste in my mouth left from region locked Home, and no video downloads. Yeah that was pretty melodramatic...

Still, this is great news. I was considering shelling out $700 for a freeview decoder (NZ), and now I'll be getting that, plus a DVR, for what should be much less money. Fantastic!
