Keepin' it real fake, part LXIV: 2G Shuffle goes dark

Jun 23rd 2007 7:33PM (Engadget)
I have actually bought one of these, paid $20 for 1GB of "extremely shuffle-like appearence", which were the webshop's exact words. It works very well, but the earbuds were... less than satisfying.

The shop, dealextreme.com, only sold them for a couple of weeks. Wonder why.

VC Monday Madness video wrap-up 4/23/07 [update 2]

Usually I agree with your short vc-reviews/summaries, but your treatment of Monster World is an exception to this. I bought it on eBay a couple of years ago (after yet again having finished Dragon's Trap and desperately wanting more adventures with Wonder Boy) and I wasn't disappointed at all! As realstar points out, the music is really good, the levels are well-designed, the graphics are decent for a 16-bit game, and what's wrong with an absurd story? :) Fans of rpg/platform hybrid (good description, realstar), and most definately fans of Wonder Boy, at least Dragon's Trap, gonna love this game. Worth the download? Yeah!

Double dose of Wii Play trailers

Jan 10th 2007 11:11AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Got Wii Play on the 8th of december and you US of A guys have something to look forward to! But the replay value is better on Wii Sports, imho. Everytime we bring the Wii to a party or a afterparty (do you know the term "nachspiel" in the US?), Wii Sports is played for hours and hours, but Wii Play usually only gets a few test rounds. I have also noticed that the Wii Play-games are are a bit harder to master, probably it's because they rely more on the IR.

Best Wii play moment: Getting gold in table tennis! I sincerely believe my heart rate has never been higher, I'm guessing 250+.

Two new VC titles

C'mon Wonder Boy!
When I find myself playing The Dragons Trap on a Wii, my life will be complete.

Contest: You decide the most pathetic 360 setup!

Poor setup, but props for smb3 and the mountain dew box. (And the fixed wall:)

Virtual Console: Sega and Hudson games are a go!

I'll take it even further: If I can play Wonder Boy again, I'll never again be a sad man.
