Try a "Welcome to 2001" party. The original Xbox had all those features.

Witcher 2 dev CD Project RED ceases legal action against pirates

Once Blizzard proves the Diablo III model is successful, that will become the norm in PC gaming. You install a client that is a piece of the game, and it wont function unless you are logged into the Developer's servers. Boom, no more piracy.

Neal Tiles steps down as president of G4, Adam Stotsky takes over

God I loved the early days of G4. I remember back in 2002 surfing through the channels one morning and finding it. I couldnt believe there was a 24/7 network dedicated to Video Games. I ended up spending the whole day on the couch watching. There were a lot of repeats in those days, but still you could turn on G4 at any hour of the day and there would be a show about VGs on. They actually had dedicated shows for each genre of games. It also had a very "Indy" feel to it that I liked, unlike the Corporate Vomit it is today. X-Play was the last show I would watch on G4, but now all the previews/reviews from that show are online so I can just pick the stuff I want to watch. The one thing I will give them props on is their E3 coverage. My DVR fills up every year with that stuff and I enjoy watching it.

GameFly's most requested games of 2011

Believe it or not there are a lot of people that don't care about online MP. I rented BF3 for the 360 from GF knowing about the pass. I finished the campaign and had it back in the mail the day after I received it. Also, for those that don't know, when you buy a used game from GF they send you the original case with everything in it -- including any online pass codes.

Metareview: Rage

Oct 5th 2011 2:15PM (Joystiq)
Game Informer (90/100): "its heart-pounding gunplay is a nice change of pace in a market filled with "follow me" and pop-and-fire shooters"

GameTrailers (90/100): "We never imagined that the RPG elements would be so vast or deftly handled, resulting in a pleasant surprise. A near-perfect mix of first-person shooting and role-playing . . . "

Foo Fighters to close out Blizzcon 2011

Sep 29th 2011 4:16PM (Joystiq)
@SuperAngryMeatBirdBoy
You do realize that Foo Fighters current album is on the Billboard Top 200? And that two songs off that album are currently on the Billboard Hot 100? The people at Blizzcon are in for a treat. I just saw FF a couple weeks ago, they kicked a$$ for THREE SOLID HOURS. I'd like to see any of these other pansy "bands" out right now play for three hours. Dave does an amazing three song acoustic set in the middle. I will see FF everytime they come though town. AMAZING.
