I would love to see an American studio tackle the Mega Man franchise and make a first person shooter out of it. One with a much more serious tone than the previous games. The Mega Man franchise has the trappings of a Sci-Fi epic, it just needs to be harnessed.

Think Metroid Prime, only there would be more freedom in where the game could go and what the player could do.

It would be brilliant.

I think that once the gaming populace gets their hand on both titles, they will realize that Rock Band is the better title. Guitar Hero 3 feels like a whack-a-mole game compared to the music creation/stage performance sim that is Rock Band.

Guitar Hero 3 will have better sales out the gate, but by February you will see Rock Band take over.

After playing both games extensively I must say that I enjoy the Rock Band experience more. Rock Band feels more like a music creation sim, whereas Guitar Hero 3 just feels like a game that challenges you to smash as many buttons as possible without losing. I don't know how the folks at Neversoft managed to strip the musical experience out GH3, but they did.

I love the two-headed ogre boss in the Shattered Halls, his lines are priceless.

Actually you can use a freezing trap on the Fleshlashers in the Satanica, but I think that is it. I hate them too.

As for my most hated mob I would have to say the Durnholde Sentrys in Epic Durholde Keep. Having to CC them before the combat starts is a serious pain. But less of a pain then the mobs they summon. I don't like being hit for 4k non-crit white damage. :(
